Title: Lost the spring of my YAW Stick
Post by: hyd_quads on May 04, 2012, 09:51:05 PM
While fiddling wih my only radio, a Hobbyking 2.4GHz 6Ch (Mode 2) transmitter, I LOST the spring and the plastic part attached to the YAW STICK of my Tx. I thought it won't cause much trouble, but of late it sucks! My quad now goes round and round in the air!  :banghead:  :banghead:

In this worst case, I don't mind if there's no yaw function on my quad, so can I disable the yaw using T6Config? (I'll set the travel limits to 0 and subtrim to 0 too)
So wherever I move the yaw stick, CH4 always stays constant. Will this fix it?

But the idea of disabling yaw is so... so dumb! What can be done?  ???

Just search for 500 watt or 1000 watt heater coil, Make spring your own. Select the cheaper coil that is attracted by magnet (Truely not nicrome wire, but sold as nicrome wire.). If you can give the similar spring pic. or wire guage, I can try to find the spring wire.
Try.
