Title: Needed some help buying my first high end radio system
Post by: anirudh19oct on June 13, 2015, 11:42:18 PM
Hello all. This will be my second post here. I am willing to buy myself a good radio system. Budget is about 25k INR. Looking the best one, more like a bang for the buck deal out there. And I've seen a lot of people talk good about the JR XG8 radio. What's your take on it? I am seeing posts about people losing their models because of cheap radios and clones, since I was a noob I got myself an RCB6i but now I am scared to use it on my Phoenix .46 Trainer. I've put in a lot of money and time on that model so I really don't want to lose it. Plus I am here to stay in the hobby so I'm looking at durability in the radios too.

I'll probably use the Avionic RCB6i on a foamy I am planning to build. What's your take on using this radio for my nitro plane? I know its not good at all (Is it?) I just want to hear from you people out here who are more experienced in the field of aviation.

So basically that's down to 3 main questions.

1. What to do with my Avionic RCB6i radio? Sell it? Use it on a foamy? Still in mint condition. Probably 10 days old.

2. What's your take on the JR XG 8 radio? Good? Best?

3. Any suggestions on 'better' radios when compared to the JR?

Thanks and cheers.  :hatsoff:

I would suggest to simply buy the taranis.
