Firstly : this is weird/strange that radio license for a device is in the name of an individual. how does it matter if someone else is using that device or radio.
Secondly : can someone put focus on the para which says "As this equipment........................................2.4Ghz band and upto 4 watts of power)

if License is not required to operate 2.4 ghz upto 4watts then whats wrong in importing these radios?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?Huh?

Hi All to operate a 2.4Ghz frequency operated equipment including all, doesn't require any license but it has to be certified by WPC stating that the Equipment is under the norms specified.

Simply put, SOMEONE has to confirm that it falls within those ranges... and that is the ETA (Equipment Type Approval) from WPC.  Secondly, each import requires an "import license", that confirms that it is the "type approved" model itself that is being imported  Lips Sealed

any one got the convertor for the 110 to 220 AC.

Should be available in any electronics parts shops, and possibly in other shops too.  Just ask around your town (or closest town).

And you want 220 to 110 (not the other way around).  Unless you bought it in India with 220v support, and are planning to travel to the US with it !

Today I got my Dx6i tx from indian hobbies..but the charger for tx is 110v to 6v. I think it is not usable in india atleast where the normal supply is 230v. Probably I will have to buy a converter from 230v to 6v. Please help.

Thanks in advance.

Thanks anwar for the quick response. But my point was whether I should look for
230v to 6v adapter OR
230v to 120v and then 120v to 6v (I already have it) - I dont know how will I make the connections in this case.

Thanks

Basically you can either get a 220v charger for your radio, OR you can get a 220V to 110v convertor which allows you to use the charger you have.  For the latter option, you plug in your 110v charger into the convertor, it is straight forward.

A third option is to get a all-chemistry charger which can charge not only your TX, but also every other battery you have.

Hello friends. Please Please help.
I need an advice. I have a charger which I am using for charging my camera battery. Can this charger be used for charging the battery provided with Dx6i tx (Spektrum 1.2v/1500mAh)? This charger is used for charging Sony rechargeable battery (1.2v/2100mAh). I am attaching a picture of the same.

If you can post readable information (via close-up pictures?) on both the charger and the Tx battery (just to be sure), it should be possible to make a fairly safe call on this.

As much as I can see your Charger has 360mA output and it is for NiMh battery. Yes you can charge your DX6i battery with this charger because those batteries are also NiMh but less mA. If your charger has auto cut of features then very good, you will notice that it will takes less time to charge DX6i batteries, but if it has no such auto cut features then you have charge DX6i batteries 1/4 times less than the time you charge your camera batteries, for example if the manual of charger says you should charge your camera battery 4 hrs then for DX6i batteries you should charge 3 hrs only. But I think this kind all good NiMh chargers have auto-cut of system.

warriornair HobbyKing E4 Charger is only for LiPo (Lithium Polymer) battery. For power supply you can use either 12V battery or 13.5V laptop power adaptor but make sure about correct polarity.

Something like the Accucel 6, the Imax B6, Thunder AC6 etc. All of these can handle pretty much all type of cell chemistries.

You need a 12v power supply for your E4, see this thread :
