Hi Experts, I am not very expert on this so seeking your opinion on this. I am planning to buy a FrSky Tx for my FPV, I thought to buy taranis x9d plus and was looking for it online, then I got below. https://www.frsky-rc.com/product/taranis-x9d-plus-2019/ it looks that FrSky has launched newer model of x9d plus. Queries 1. Can you please suggest me that is it good to have this or the older one? is it worth waiting for this or I can get the older one, talked to RCMumbai, they said may be they will get it in 2-3 month 2. Is it fixed that it can transmit only in 2.4 ghz, can I switch tx to 900 mhz(without any change in hw), i.e. can I use a long range receiver(900mhz) with this transmitter? Regards, Ajeet. One good thing about hardware modification is scroll wheel instead of buttons. Sometimes using buttons is really painful during model naming, mixes etc. Protocol is new so can't comment much.
2. X9D plus transmitter's internal module operate at 2.4Ghz only. If you want to use x9d plus it with 900Mhz receivers then you need frsky R9M module or TBS crossfire modules.
