Title: Problem with my 9 in 1 Simulator
Post by: mirmoazam on February 05, 2012, 10:22:35 PM
I'm facing an awkward problem while using this simulator. This sometimes connects to my PC and does work fine and sometimes gives a USB not recognised error. Don't know what the problem is. Has anybody faced this problem before  ???

This comes with Phoenix,Aerofly,G5,Reflex XTR and FMS softwares and had bought this from Rcbazaar.

why dont you install teamviewer on your system.. this will enable our team to log into your system and install the software and move out...?

yes.. this time we have had some issues in installing the sim and we have made the same out of stock till we do some proper instructions (hopefully some vids might help but this might take time). Once we have the proper step by step instruction written down we will have the simulators back in stock and sale again

Hi, sujju bhai,
This error generates when connection fails. If any of the usb connector connection got loose, you may get this error.
Just try to check the cable and connections with PC.
I have similar problems in PenDrive and rectified. But another does not recovered as internally it was damaged.

Thanks

also check if you are using rear USB (USB which is on you mother board and no the extended one), sometimes USB in front does give this error.

Thanks Augustinev and kalyan for your Solutions. I have tried and tested both, but as i told you this is an awkward problem i'm facing, I have tried using the rear side, it worked a few times and then got the same problem. I'll try this on my Friend's PC and let you all know

Try another by pressing one side of the metalic USBcasing for tight fit in contacts. Some M$ mouse got this problem initially and solved later. However, if internal soldering is defective, it have to be resoldered.

There is hope as it was sensed earlier. :-\

Thanks

I think this is not a hardware issue but software config issue as OP says it works sometimes, mirmoazam please check your port settings, i have gamepad and sim drivers both installed on my pc and it gives me error same error while running on same port. I would like to say that change port and also update driver using device manager, it might help you, also check your connection isn't loose, sometimes simple reboot helps too.

Visited the Store today and got a confirmation of this being a hardware issue. This dongle now doesn't even get detected. Waiting for a reply from the store as they have promised to help me out

Just wanted to have a quick check. Is it not illegal to use this dongle ? Something like a copyright protection or anything ?
