Title: Question related to Hobbycity 2.4ghz version 1 transmitter Post by: foamybuilder on March 14, 2011, 07:14:30 PM If people had bought the Hobbycity 2.4ghz version 1 transmitter, can any one tell what is the rating in db of the antenna.
I need to buy a new antenna for this and I am not sure whether to buy 3, 4 or 6 db antenna. I am not sure whether the latter releases of version1 transmitters had removable antennas, but mine have. I was able to unscrew it and use a Wifi modem's antenna and both were interchangeable and worked. I stepped in a ditch sometime back while flying and the antenna is bent, just wanted to buy a new one so want to know the rating of that antenna before buying so that it wont affect the range I am getting currently. |
