Title: RCB6i Throttle issue
Post by: rajarshi487 on June 27, 2014, 03:36:12 PM
Hi,

Am very new to RC planes. I bought RCB6i recently and joined with Rx > ESC > Motor. What I find is, my Tx throttle starts the motor from middle position instead of all the way down. Is it a calibration error? If so, how to fix it? Please somebody help. Another thing, which density of Thermocol is good for plane modeling?

Regards

Yes, in such a situation the first thing you should check is the calibration. You should refer to your ESC's manual for the calibration procedure. However, for most ESCs, the calibration procedure is the same. You should position the throttle stick at the full (highest) position and then plug in the battery into the ESC. It will beep once, then immediately bring the throttle down to zero. It will beep again signifying that the calibration is complete.
Do refer to your ESC manual though.
What ESC are you using?
