Hello,

I am using Futaba 9CAP for almost 5 years. I have always used Futaba radios from 4 channel T4YS, 6EXAS & 9CAP. Never had any problems. All on 72 MHz band. Recently I changed my 9CAP to 2.4 GHz using Frsky module. It is also working fine.

Now my multirotor needs more channels so I want to buy another radio. Two models come to my mind. First is obviously Futaba 14SG the trusted, branded Futaba. Another is Taranis X9D Plus. A lot of people are using Taranis & haven't heard a word of complaint.

Futaba is priced at ~Rs. 40,000/ & Taranis at ~Rs. 18,000/ 25,000/. Naturally looking at price difference, one leans towards Taranis only if it is reliable.

My question is should one trust Taranis for its reliability & put it on expensive & most importantly "dangerous" multirotor with six carbon blades?

Thanks,

Ashok
