Hi,

I have a walkera 1#a, with rx2806. I also have a flysky 9x and was thinking if i can use the flysky rx on walkera.

What all things should be looked into to see if one can replace an existing rx with a different model from a different manufacturer?

Heli=Diff parts flying together in close formation

Yes you can do this, just make sure to select the appropriate swash type in the 9x tx also make sure that the gain values for Gyro and servo direction (for all servos) is set correctly.

Unless connectors create an issue, Rest I think you should be fine.

Hi Dheeraj
Since from your other thread I saw that you have just started flying the 1#a, I would suggest that you continue with the Walkera Tx for now and not change things around right away. Enough time to do that later. If your chopper is flying well and holds steady with the current factory settings, stay with it for the time being. You can ofcourse do what Amit has suggested after you have put in some more stick time.

Hi Amit,

Thanks for the details? My doubt was more in line with electronics, all receivers work with all escs?

Pradeep, thanks for the tip, i was actually not wanting to do it now, but was.not sure if there are any issues with compatibility etc with all esc's. As you said i need to learn how to handle it in air better first.
