Hello friends

i am new to this forum as well as hobby and am seriously considering developing this hobby further. I was advised by one of the veterans to try my hand first with RealFlight simulator along with a good transmitter. hence can you please guide me with
1) is RealFlight (v6) a good simulator. i downloaded the demo version & was happy to use it.
2) which transmitter shall i go for. i intend to use the same transmitter with my initial planes
3) i want to be realistic with my spend till i am completely sure of developing this hobby. i am not much familiar of what should be the right budget for these 2 items i intend to start with

hence can you please guide me on this subject?
