What do you mean by a receiver switch ?  If it is just an on-off switch for the receiver power, the Futaba switch should work just the same.

Can't visualize it yet :(

What you are describing would require a Y cable and a bind plug ?

in spektrum for Binding, plug is inserted, which generally shorts pin -ve and signal in the BIND/Battery Pins(channel), that is out of  3pins 1 & 3 are shorted!!!!

so, what i understand from ur post, u have to use std 3 pin JR servo conector for the RX battery and take out extra wire from pin 1 & 3 and use simple SPST or any on off switch!!!

so when ever u plug in the battery u can use this switch. if switch is ON while connecting battery then it will be in bind mode and if switch is OFF then it is normal!!!!

i hope this is wat u wanted, and wat i understood!!!! try it at ur own RISK!!!! :-)
will not advice u to use this combination if ur not planning to use RX battery and using ESC for suppling power to RX, it will short Throttle channel with -ve!!!

i think instead of taking extra wires u can also use Y cable as mentioned by Anwar and attach switch.

but beware, if u accidentally left the switch ON while connecting battery u will always be in binding mode, u may risk ur model!!!!

Hi

Spektrum / JR Switch comes with 3 cables (+,-, Signal) and the Futaba comes with 2 cables (+ , -).

As explained earlier the JR/Spektrum Switch should be used for Binding as it requires all the three cables.

Futaba Switch cannot be used for binding.

Futaba Switch can only be used for flying once the Transmitter and receiver is bound. I hope it makes it clear.

Thanks

The big question is why do you need to bind again and again :headscratch:   Usually, one would bind only once per model, and be done with it.  And that binding only takes some kind of receiver power and the bind plug.
