You are the second person I know who has some problem with the 2.4 rx, I guess 2.4 rx are very sensitive to heat & are not so crash resistant compared to our faithful old rxs.. :salute:

Not sure why its happening with your old 2.4 rx though  :headscratch:

Cheers

Are you sure it is a 7200 ?

I guess you have already tried simple steps like rebinding the receiver ? Make sure you have the throttle in low position when you do the rebinding, as it affects failsafe settings.

How about reversing the throttle channel (should not be needed for JR/Spektrum though).

Another thing to watch out for is the sounds the ESC makes when you connect the battery.  Does it give any audio clues at all ?

Are you sure it is a 7200 ?

If spending a 5k on 2.4 ghz rx and after a years time we get to see these kind of  results am sure I am wrong BUT if these problems persist with 2.4 rx why go for them ?

I have personally been a victim of a huge glitch on 2.4 so am not so excited about it to be very honest..

my experience and these statements does not mean 2.4 tech is bad, its the best the future can see..so chill..

The reason I asked about 7200 is that I am not aware of such a model (at least widely in use).  In the 7xxx series, it was the AR7000 first, and now there is an AR7100, but no 7200.  AR6200s are common though.

Santhosh himself has been flying Spektrum 2.4 without any issues (that is what I gathered from our discussions).  Like anything in life, there can be odd defective units (not sure if that is the case here), and that is what warranties are supposed to cover.

The same happens in the 72Mhz world, there are occasional defective units from even the major brands.

This has absolutely nothing to do with any technology.

Hi Anwar,

Yeah I completely agree with you, Even major brands can be defective as you rightly mentioned.

I think santosh you should try sending the rx for repairing if it is still in warranty...

Good Day people..
