we have done that at our store for the Flysky TH9X which is the same as the Turnigy 9X... however we have done this with a soldering process but have not cracked the solderless process yet as the pogo pins are too small and our guys are having issues with soldering the pogo pins to the PCB...
for any more info you can call the store at 080 - 41738892 and talk to Mr. Dilip.

Finally with smartieparts solderless kit, I was able to burn ER9x firmware into my Turnigy9x. It just took 10min to install the hardware mod.
and a min to burn the firmware. The mini usb through which upgrade happens now sits back in the battery pod of tx. Attached are some pics.

Now its Turnigy + Frsky telemetry + Er9x.
There are some more hardware mods( + ER9x-FRSKY.hex firmware) required to display telemetry details in ER9xwhich I havent done that  yet.

Great Ashok,
till now its been great firmware to me ! it has got excellent features like 7 point curve,16 model memory more over that servo slow or delay (great for flaps or LG) ,shortcut keys and great mixing !
Also tried Th9x but some how i didn't like that firmware!

my major concern with stock firmware was the beep. Was getting irritated once in a while.
Yes it has lot of features.
