Which Tx is better Turnigy 9XR with Frsky module or Frsky Taranis need suggestions for both .

You cannot even compare the two

Feature wise there is a difference between both the Tx's but with successful mods Flysky 9x with frsky module can fill some of the gaps.

Refer the following thread for more elaborate mods on th9x which includes: telemetry,rssi alarm,option to change firmware to open tx(used in taranis) or er9x,  piezo speaker with haptic feedback,add sd card with voice support & more model memory, backlight mod etc . Let me warn you that telemetry and sd card are high level mods and you require fine soldering skills.

Now if you are a tinkerer/diy'er then you can go with th9x(cheaper) and mod it as you move further in the hobby
or go for a ready made package such as taranis(costly) with less headache tho. In any case the frsky rx'es are highly priced.

Btw I have been using Th9x with frsky module without any issues for 2 years. I have added lipo, backlight, intergrated frsky internal module with rssi alarm, changed firmware to er9x, began using CPPM . Tried the telemetry mod but it was too much for me back then. And now I can get telemetry via osd/fpv on an APM 2. I have modded the module in such a way that Im able to use the default module too when I need or switch over to frsky module depending upon LOS or Beyond LOS flights.
