Title: What if I use 433Mhz for telemetry? Post by: Rahulvyas on March 10, 2013, 08:08:28 PM Hi guys,
confused with this small thing- I am planning to buy Arduflyer 2.5 with GPS and 433Mhz telemetry.. But I read somewhere 433 is not legal. Is it? http://www.rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=837&productname= If I use then they will catch me? :O only for small telemetry? And is 915Mhz legal? I will use that instead.. http://www.rctimer.com/index.php?gOo=goods_details.dwt&goodsid=822&productname= Thanks, Rahul Title: Re: What if I use 433Mhz for telemetry? Post by: lastRites on March 11, 2013, 12:12:01 AM Here the mobile phones operate on 900MHz. That is not legal. Not sure about 433MHz though.. If you operate a small wattage Tx, I don't think you would have any problems legally. If you are going the 900MHz way, be prepared for a lot of RF interference.
