Your Tx won't draw over 200-500ma So C rating that allows 500ma draw is enough. Ie, 1C with a 500mah battery A 2200mah will easily last 2-3 hours. A 1000mah 1C lipo is adequate for a day's flying! Simplest solution is to use an old 1000-1300 mah lipo which is no longer strong enough for motors... Check your transmitter compatibility for 2/3 cell Lipo or Life packs and full charge voltage. (example Lipo 3cell has 12.6volts output fully charged) 3. Check transmitter compatibility for Low voltage beep/cutoff setting with Lipo/Life pack cutoff. 4. Never under any conditions try to charge a Lipo/Life pack from the transmitters charging jack/port. All ways charge you transmitter battery pack out side. Wondering what is the basis of this recommendation. Since only 0.1-0.2C will be drawn, why 3c? And the capacity will power the Tx for about 10 hours... Is this really needed?
