Title: Why does RCBazaar ask for ID for TX and Rx sales? Post by: Nanu on May 12, 2015, 08:43:14 AM Hi,
I was planning on getting a new Tx and Rx and while browsing realised that RCBazaar requires an ID for WPC. SO does this mean they get the Equipment Type Approlval from WPC for the Rx Tx that they are selling? Has anyone purchased a Tx from them? Did u get any document from WPC for the same?? This Is What I think so Is the rule.

The requirement is as per the rules from WPC to issue import licence for our transmitters.. more than WPC its also our requirement so that we know who we are selling these transmitters to and track them if necessary (the same will be done soon for our FPV equipment) ... I have moved back to India recently and would like to get a new TX but would like to be sure it will not get confiscated by someone around. Also if a copy can be handed over under RCbazar it might help.

And as Sujju Sir said it would be of no use handing the WPC certificate as it is given to RCbazaar....you can without any worries buy a TX..but just make sure that you avoid flying near airports, restricted areas, if possible early mornings or at noon to avoid any crowding of ppl(Bound to happen) and fly in groups! The WPC certificate is required for importing the Tx and Rx not owning it :thumbsup: |
