I am posting this event on behalf of my friend Mr. Ravi Gupta, Regional Secretary, Lucknow Region AMAI. Below is the email I received from him. hi, This is Ravi from Lucknow Aeromodelling meet as well as competitions are going to be held in Scorpio Club, Lucknow on 18 and 19 June 2011. The club having its own aero sports ground and providing all assistance like free accommodation and food for all participating R/c flyers. The competitions are R/C glider and power model competitions. The prize are Rs. 5000/- and Rs. 3000/- for glider and Rs. 15000/- and Rs. 10000/- for power competitions. The rules are as under:- GILDER COMPETITION ENGINE POWER 2.5CC/.15CU MARKS ENGINE RUN MAX 1 MNT - GLIDE DURATION 3 MNT 180 SPOT LANDING 2MTR CIRCLE 20 TOTAL 200 POWER COMPETITION ENGINE POWER NO LIMIT TAKE OFF 10 MARKS LEFT & RIGHT TURN 10 LOOPS 2 CONSECUTIVE 20 HORIZONTAL ROLLS 20 ROLL ON TOP 20 SPIN 20 INVERTED PASS 20 ONE EXTRA STUNT 20 CIRCUIT & LANDING 5X6 MTR BOX 20 TOTAL 160 THE COMPETITIONS WILL BE ON 18 JUNE 2011 AT 1600 Hrs REGISTRATION FEE Rs 500/- Those who would like to participate please feel free to contact at 9889816016 or mail on ravisalgupta@rediffmail.com Thanks Ravi Note: Some confirmed names from Delhi/NCR Region are Mr Vijendra Nagar, President AMAI, Mr. Bobby, Mr. Hemant, Mr. O.D. Today was the first day of this event! All went just great! :thumbsup: It was so nice to meet people coming from different places!!! It was good for some but not for all, 3 or 4 nitro planes were crashed, there was one nice big nitro plane which was shattered into pieces.. I feel pity for that damage. But never mind, it happens! I will post a nice video soon! :) Okay guys so whoever was there with us, please share your views...... It was a great day- won the bucks too! ;) WOW, more than winning, I have collected beautiful memories and met some really great people! It was really awesome! Will always cherish! That was a sponsor, not exactly the organizing body! ;) We let them organize at their level as main organizer Ravi is Regional Secretary for Lucknow Chapter. Also Mr. Nagar, President AMAI distributed the prizes so we can conclude we did what we had to do not hogging the limelight.
