At BITS Pilani Goa, there was a annual technical festival called Quark. I had participated in it for projection competition and got first prize. There was also a rc plane competition. It was amazing. Lots of people from Goa and outside had participated. We actually got 2nd in the competition but didn't get a prize because of politics and also partiality towards the college team...and the worst part was that the judges didn't even disclose our lap timings and the final judgement was done when we weren't in their presence.... I came and placed 2nd in the competition (due to a stupid landing mistake on my part!).. I never got any prize money!! They said they would be couriering me a cheque and whenever I tried calling the organizers, they never answered or called me back!! even after repeated texting!! Finally I got a courier from Goa with 5 movie tickets (to a multiplex chain which is not present in Chennai) and 3 antivirus discs!!! All this after spending a small fortune on a trip to goa!! On the other side, Goa was fun :-D (naughty smirking)!! But i was disappointed with the unprofessional attitude of the organizers!
