(a) RC Events like, 3D Aeros, Heli flying, Flower Drop Banner Tow, Toffee Drop, Pattern Aeros, Quads, FPV (Live Telecast), Mock Air Combat etc etc (b) Akash Ganga Sky Diving team will perform aerial acrobatics (c) Paraglider (d) Micro Light Flying (e) Flypast by Fighters (f) Slithering by Commandos all aero modellors who want to participate could let me know, (a) Arrival plans (b) Fuel and other Consumables requirement (c) Number and type of aeroplane they will bring along (d) events they would like to perform This event is to promote aviation and IAF, it is not a competition, though if you want to look at it monetarily, in terms of stay and food one could benefit more than the prize money that some of the events offer. By this time, all the other passengers were boarded the plane except six of them, meanwhile the Manager told his men to measure the RC Planes with a one ft. Ruler (a school foot rule) the length and the width, then he calculated and start saying that these RC plane were a COMMERCIAL ITEM and that he need to booked the Planes NOT by its WEIGHT but by its VOLUMATRIC weight, so after calculating what he called a VOLUMATRIC WEIGHT he said that they should give him Rs. 29000/- otherwise they cannot board the plane. Refusing the man, he let the plane took off without them, and further he said that their tickets should be cancelled by NO-SHOW method. These pictures were the rc plane which he refuse to load…." Anyway we are to release a "Press Release" against the AI Manager plus we will make sure he goes to the court, We took this matter very serious and we will not call a quit. Becasue of this kind of service Air India always runs in losses. They should learn from other private airlines?. But why will they the govt keeps bailing them out every time being a govt airlines. Su-30 and Helicopters and Akash Ganga team enthralled the public. here is the news snippet
