The idea of having one was mooted by Zonuna, (http://www.rcindia.org/radios-and-receivers/rx-for-sanwa-rds8000/msg83763/#msg83763) i took it up further , upto CM Mizo, so soon we are going to have RC Event at Aizawl, people interested to participate, please let me know. Models can be picked up and dropped back from ..? what the heck .. wherever.

Most of the events will be similar to or in much bigger scale (Hopefully) than Shillong Air Show.

I find it hard to believe   I am speechless   Augustinev sir,   we the RC flyers here at Mizoram are willing to take any necessary action for a successful event but please guide us and inform us what we should do.

Your intention venue location Lengpui runway (23.840312,92.61951) is our main Airport and rather busy airport (for us), How about a deserted Airport at Tuirial (our flying location) Lat: 23°44'49.01"N, Lon: 92°48'10.74"E  (Google earth) or a University ground at  23°44'29.43"N,  92°39'40.94"E or a new stadium to be at Aizawl itself   23°42'51.03"N  92°44'8.67"E

Tuirial field also seems like a good spot in google, I suppose much closer to main city. May be a better choice since Lengpui is a civil airport 30 Kms away from main town. Only since It is likely to be attended by CM the later seems better option.

It's great that you are organizing a great event in mizo, i am not far from Mizoram,i am from Tripura and if i can i like to join in your event if you guys let me have the permission. hope some day in my state also have that kind of event. It's sound Crazy but believe me, i am the only person who dealing  with RC kind of stuff, i couldn't find any one from my field. even nobody know what RC stands for.
Well hope some day some guy think like me & organized a event like you, but till than i wish you All The Best on your hard work & i really believe that it's going to be a Great Show.

BTW there is an Army Helipad located at Aizawl don`t know if its enough for RC,  Location :  23°44'44.85"N  92°44'12.18"E please see
