also will you guys be only allowing to use you own quad in race

It's gonna be more like Indian DRL.  I'm guessing all the registered pilots will be flying the exact same setup.

And it is not related to India drone nationals.

and i think they would be allowing u to fly in some similar standard setup

This is the official account of IDRL on RCIndia and we would like to clear some of the questions that have been discussed here:

1. Is IDRL related to India Drone Nationals?
No. IDRL is not related to India Drone Nationals in any way. IDRL or the Indian Drone Racing League is a separate drone racing league and we are also not related to DRL in any way. IDRL is financially supported by 1 Martian Way Corp., an aerospace and robotics company in Mumbai, India and we have detailed more about the IDRL concept on our FAQ page: http://droneracingindia.com/faq/

2. Racing Class and Setup for IDRL's first event @ Amalthea, IIT Gandhinagar
The pilots from all over India who are registering on our website at: http://droneracingindia.com/registration/ will be carrying their own setup and will compete in the 250 mm class. i.e. racing quad sizes from 210 mm to 255 mm will be acceptable and deemed as competitive. In addition to these, IDRL will itself be providing 5 complete sets of IDRL branded racing drones with 210 mm frame size and FPV goggles. These 5 drones will be meant exclusively for the Amalthea, IIT Gandhinagar students but may also be available to some of our pilots if needed.

3. Will there be prizes for the winners?
Yes. There will be prizes and the exact amount and goodies are being discussed presently in association with the sponsorship cell at Amalthea, IIT Gandhinagar. We expect to be backed by prominent sponsors for the event to take this event to the highest quality of standards and fair game play and rewards for all our participants.

4. What is the registration deadline?
The registration deadline is currently set at September 15th. But we recommend that if you are interested in participating for the event then kindly register at your earliest best.

5. What will be the race format, race track, schedule?
We are currently working on these and will send out notification across all forums and our website: http://droneracingindia.com

6. What will be the quality of IDRL events?
We are a team dedicated to bringing the best quality of drone racing to India. So you can expect the best race tracks, competition elements and judging standards from us at every event.
