We introduce ourselves as Coordinators of AME, Aerofest, Shaastra, IIT Madras.

SHAASTRA is the annual technical festival of the Indian Institute of Technology Madras (IITM), Chennai, India. The festival is traditionally held during the first week of January. Shaastra attracts participation from all over India, and seeks to provide a platform to showcase scientific and engineering talents. Shaastra 2019, like the predecessors, will comprise of lecture series, talks, workshops, competitions and much more.

AEROFEST is a vertical of Shaastra that doesn’t fail to catch the eye of a flying enthusiast. It deals with conducting events specifically related to Aerospace. A few of the successful events in the previous editions were, Boeing Aeromodelling Competition and AWS Drone Delivery Challenge.

In this edition of Shaastra, Aerofest is organizing its brand-new flagship event, AEROBATIC MANEUVERS EXPO(AME). AME is a stunt-show event, where professional flyers try to *impress the judges* and the audience with their great skills in flying and controlling the aircraft and also with their innovative technology. A prize pool of up to *2 lakhs INR* are up for grabs.

AME, is inviting registrations from *professional flying clubs* from across the country. The details of the same can be found in the official web-page. We invite teams from here also to register for the same, to battle it out in the game of skills for the ultimate prize money.
