I  took part in Robogames@sp4mm3r last year...
level of competition in the event was really awesome... Salute
I believe this is a new event in sp4mm3r this year... last year it was not there or I would have participated in this one...

Hi,

Can you elaborate on "Fabricate"?

What most of us have here are RTR monster trucks, buggies or truggy etc..

Does the fabrication means we need to assemble a complete new kit?

You have to fabricate some of the components on your own like the chassis, suspension arms and shock towers and the steering mechanism. Ready to Run kits are not allowed in the event. The idea behind this constraint is to encourage the participants to learn the design and manufacturing aspects of RC racing too.

The track would be a mix of both on road and off road. We do not want the event to be purely dominated by monster trucks. We will soon be posting an animation video simulating the event arena on the event website. So keep checking the web content.  Smiley
