are there any special events this time, like the 'wright design' in shaastra 2013?...... please provide the necessary details

Its a good competition.. but the organizer need to do better job.. .. The manuevers asked to do were top class though .. that was the best part about the event...
here is my experience with iit shastra last year..
 i really dont know who makes the rules , who ever does lacks rc sense big time.. and who are the true judges.. the organizers bend and flex rules as they like..
Anyways.. last to last year (2012) i stood first there ..
Last year(2013) too i won there.. and guess what .. they disqualified me on No. of cells.. they had a power limitation of less  than 1000 watts.. my set up was pulling 600watts on 6 cells.. and there we other teams who were on 5 cell 950+ watts..   ( yes we cross checked it with power calculation instruments) and i had informed them prior to coming for the event about my setup and airplane configuration and they had insisted me to come.. ... god knows what do they teach in iit chennai.. Its so pi@@ing off when some random guy starts teaching you cell concepts on the field  ..   anyways i wipped their A## last year.. and this year too .. i m coming for YOU .. watch ur back ..

You can also find TDP(Team Description Paper) for the event there.

The registration for Topgun 2014 is started and the deadline for the first round of TDP submission is 26th October,2013.

I am coming to shaastra day after tomorrow will love to meet some rc guys.

I will be at iit for the whole 5 days... Will be happy to meet fellow aeromodelers

I am facing difficulties to create a account and register for the event what to do.
It's asking for a roll number.
Is it neceesary to get the registration here or can I get it there.
