Re:

Tanmay .. The answer is a yes and a no
Meaning if we have a cad design file it can be printed but    .   given the thickness you are talking about , its gonna be very fragile.

Nice stuff . It will help for sure when parts are not available in country or prices are high for parts  . How you printed these parts , means with the help of scanner or by measuring dimensions of Original Part ?

Re:

@aditya the model is designed a CAD software and then g-coded in a slicer ware and printed .
3d scanning is a way, but hobby scanners are quite primitive, results are not always good and professional scanners are way too expensive ( more over I don't have one Wink  )

Ok . Thanks for info . First of all measure all parts dimensions and angles then make it in CAD then coding and then print . Just for an example , making propeller is possible by this method?

Re:

Ashok Sir ,
3d printers come in a variety of forms and costs , its basically the maximum volume of print that decided the cost .
A DIY kit usually starts from Rs. 20000 and upwards .
Availability , There are many on eBay too .
Cad yes its an added advantage, otherwise too you have many of the required stuff readily available on the net can be downloaded and printed.

@docnayeem...I was considering getting a mount for my Boscam TR1 FPV camera printed using online 3D printing services. There are several such printing services available in India. The STL files are also available online. But the charges appear high. Can you give an idea as to how much it actually costs to print a part such as the ones you posted (consumable cost only)?

Re:

@Santanucus the cost of the consumables varies a lot on quite a few factors like material, density, strength required, etc

Does anyone know the cost of 3D-printing parts from online shops? I know they charge according to the material, density and time. I want to know how much the approximate cost of, say, a 450 sized quad-frame would be.
