Hi to all RC lovers!

We had an introduction of ourselves yesterday and some of our fellow flyers were extremely impatient for the details to be out of the new battery. Bow
These batteries to be introduced in the Indian RC group, had already been in use for 'vaping'(an alternative to smoking). Even the automobile car manufacturer 'Tesla' had been using it.
So,it should be clear by now,how much trusted these batteries can be,as they go till the mouth of a person.PS:Honestly we didn't mean any disrespect to anybody.

We use,as mentioned by 'hellfire', 18650 cells, which have much better energy density and offer a wide range of chemistry.

These are basically Lithium Ion battery cells, but inside metal casings;so no worries of being hit and damaged and puffed  Wink
Even if you accidentally short it,the ones we are going to provide you,no serious explosions can be expected. But you should never ever try that.

And as always needed, they give around 100-500 life cycles if not abused, whereas the Lipos hopefully don't give over 75 life cycles.

Then comes about the cool part.We have cooling systems and high short discharge pulses, with specific models.

And about safety, the cell has a thermal fuse by default, due to which,if you ever happen to cross the extreme limit(>150*C),it will automatically deploy itself, and save the surroundings.

At the end,it 'might' be slightly costlier by a few hundreds INRs,since it's not directly related to Lithium Polymer batteries, and shouldn't be compared in the price range. It shouldn't be a problem if you seek good safety of yourself.

The exact specifications will be posted in a few days.We expect your cooperaation  Smiley

Best Regards,
Dronish Hats Off

Retreat, Hell!

@ Team Dronish

I'd like to wish you all the luck with your new initiative. This will hopefully help spread the hobby in India.

I don't see any mention of weight though. Could you give a detailed comparison with a similarly rated LiPo please?

Hi Swapnil,

We will provide a detailed specification of all the models followed by a comparison with 'already in the market' Lithium Polymer batteries. That's for sure and you can expect that within a few days.

Best regards,
Dronish
