the most memorable day i ever had. i was flying my raptor 30 and the airforce heli was circling over me . they were in their regular practice drill. after i landed and other fren of mine came to the feild.. we saw a heli coming right into us.. just about 100 -150 paces  away it was hovering nose-in to us. we could see both the pilots clearly . i was with my heli and transmitter in hand. and my fren was assembling his plane mk ready 40. they were there for about 40 seconds. and they started picking altitude slowly revolving around us. i and my fren showed THUMBS UP and we could clearly see both the pilots replying back to us putting their hands out of the windows of the cockpit giving a thumbs up.

i saw the helicopter hovering so close only once when i was in 3rd standard in afs hindan( my dad was exairforce) and then now. i am sure they liked what we were doing.. they made my day today..

Wow lucky you are. Was that 1st time? as you said they practice regularly.

it was the first time tht happened they generally dont come that low. but i was told tht that land is their emergency landing area. its quite large 100 + acres. i could here the turbine engine roaring, the blades giving the nice wind buffet music. oh man..  . i wish i could see it once more.

it was at shamirpet. they were from hakimpet airforce base..
