Title: Baiojet electric to Turbine conversion
Post by: xantos on April 01, 2011, 02:57:18 PM
Converting a electric composite airframe to Turbine
This is essentially a Composite Funjet Ultra
I've shoehorned a 2.5kg thrust  Kolibiri Turbine into the tail.
expected AUW should be 1.5kg
With a more than 1:1.6 power to weight ratio  this will be FUN  >:D
Expect 350kmph++ on this config
Heads up Mahalaxmi  ;)

Airframe is made by SAB's Crazy Division
SAB is the same manufacturer in Italy that make speciality Heli Blades etc
Primary business is Heli blades
And they have a Crazy division that makes the crazy stuff

Wow xantos !! Isn't that a "Baiojet 01" from Saab composite ? Where did you pick it up ? Did it comes with decals ? If not, please get it to some Tattoo guy for painting once you tune it!!
Eager to see the Video!!

Video a Baiojet in flight ??!!
Thats a little more difficult than flying it.
might catch a few passes but capturing a full flight on Video is almost impossible
