Hi I been looking forward to buy a Phantom 3 for the longest, Now I have the means a bit confused about the process.

At the Moment ie(9th Spetember 2016) DJI Store is charging 499$ which is approx 33000 inr
 Bang Head Queries
1) should I buy it from India Dealer AVCS who is charging 55000 + taxes
2) Should I buy from Dubai and get it to India with a friend which will cost me 199 AED which is approx 34000
3) Will it be troublesome to get it through Mumbai Custom clearance ? should done declare it if bringing it in Check in lugage?

Please Suggest I have a friend Traveling over the weekend so that I can plan accordingly

1) Yes
2) No (look below)
3) RTF quads are banned from being imported. If you declare it then they will seize it at customs and not release it to you. There is a chance you can bring it by disassembling it as much as possible and spreading it around the bag (another user here did it a month back and it worked). However this is also risky.

Better to just buy it from an Indian seller.

Your first and second options are better than the 3rd no way mumbai or any customs is gonna let it in anyways also your friend needs to speak about it if asked at the airport customs and say that its his personal use for ap or so ... bdw p3 price has been low it would be a better option rcm selling for 80k with 2 lipos

Never used a P3 so I don't know, but a lot of people use it so I assume there isn't a fly away problem.
