Title: Re: FAA Waiver obtained High Altitude EasyStar Flight launched with a weather ballon Post by: sundaram on December 01, 2013, 04:49:08 AM That was a penguin not easystar gusty :giggle:
But when are we doing this? ;) Here due to smog the video is not as pleasant as it was in Shillong. :'( Further no clouds only blue sky due to winter. Not much fun to fly all alone. :'( I have to get Parambir into FPV fast. Title: Re: FAA Waiver obtained High Altitude EasyStar Flight launched with a weather ballon Post by: rcpilotacro on December 01, 2013, 11:48:09 AM i saw that it was a penguin. penguin, Bixler, Cloudsfly, AXN, etc etc are all MPX copies, some shamelessly.
I found a great spot to do this, academy near by, we will have some high altitude tracking support as well, i have a bright idea to do it safely(Legally & Safety of the eqpt) will discuss once back from the tour. Penguin and easystar are in no way same class gusty, with former being more capable and custom designed for longer duration FPV. :giggle: Title: Re: FAA Waiver obtained High Altitude EasyStar Flight launched with a weather ballon Post by: rcpilotacro on December 01, 2013, 03:07:12 PM may be, basic airframe, wing design, wing tip canter, pronounced reflex camber. all of it has been copied from German Design. that's all i am saying, nothing wrong in it. Just that this German design has performed well in all fields, instead of re-inventing wheels people are adopting to penguin or whatever
