I want to know which lipo battery can be used for optic 6 sports radio having 7.2 v nimh in original

A 2S pack will have max. voltage of 8.4V upon fully charged, do the radio will be ok with that Huh?

 I don't have this radio, and don't know of the internal circuitry,  giving 8.4V instead of 7.2V, kinda over voltage Huh? Smiley

Nimh charges up to 8.10 and lipo will chrge upto 4.2 X 2 i e 8.4v is it not ok

Without any factual data.
Why not check the voltage with a fully charged 6 cell NiMh?
And compare with a fully charged 2s lipo?

You may be surprised at the answer.
