Title: HK Tx wont budge
Post by: Drone on May 29, 2010, 01:51:44 PM
Seems like a bad weekend for me.
My sim stops working. Now the new HK Tx 6ch I got yesterday seems faulty.

1. Installed 'Win Vista or XP CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.exe'
2. Installed 't6config.exe' from FS-CT6ADriver.rar (also tried the one from bmi-models)
3. Copied ser2pl.sys to C:\WINDOWS\system32 also C:\WINDOWS\system32\drivers
4. Reboot
5. Insert usb cable, check com port in device manager (was COM15)
6. cable adapter light glows
7. Plug other end to HK6, power on
8. start t6config
9. select setting->com15 (also tried with other ports)
10. Move HK6 stick

Also tried with Other USB ports
Try the entire stuff on Laptop (com4)

No matter what I do the Green bars on t6config just dont budge.  :banghead:
After I select the comport on t6config looks like the applications hangs.
I have to switch off the Tx for the app to unfreeze.

Not sure if its the cable or TX. Any way I can check the cable?

(yet to try some suggestions on this page)

Any ideas..  :help:

Worst case will get a refund.  ;)

Stop using T6 it will not work for you

1. Download the drivers from www.silabs.com/Support Documents/Software/CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.zip
2. Download Turborix from http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11762129#post11762129 (attachment programmer.zip).     Also see update to Turborix.exe in post http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showpost.php?p=13505782&postcount=2332
3. Download AtEasy runtime environment that Turborix from either http://cid-03159e0e1c9ad8b7.skydrive.live.com/browse.aspx/.Public?uc=1 or from https://www.geotestinc.com/Magic/MGLogin.aspx?err=loginRegDL&RefPage=..%2fProduct.aspx%3fmodel%3dATEasy&FileID=277 and I got this info from http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?p=11762129#post11762129

I am using this TX on my HK450 and belt CP.

If you need setup file for above heli , let me know

Downloaded the usb bridge driver from
http://www.4shared.com/file/67056627/1766ee43/CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.html (http://www.4shared.com/file/67056627/1766ee43/CP210x_VCP_Win2K_XP_S2K3.html)

For some strange reason it works only with this driver and only on my laptop (not my PC).

Well now I'm able to get the default setting from both 't6config' and 'turborix' programs.
Well now I get 'Signal OK' for channels and 'Valid' for tx.
Looks fine for now.
