Title: Need help with customs Post by: raja3456 on January 22, 2015, 04:27:18 PM Hey guys, I had booked a REPLICA TAG HEUR in december. It was stuck in custom, today i got a "notice of call/cum-show cause memo" from Mumbai customs. Anybody has any experience regarding this? They valued the watch at $5000 but I paid only $89 for it. So, will there be any problem?
In memo/notice they had asked me to provide three things. 1. Invoice, cert. of origin 2. Catalogue, illustrative literature,drawing, application of goods. 3. Justification of importers when for actual use. They had given a email to submit documents but do i/should i go in person? First Of all Welcome to the forum, Yes you should submit the documents as they are thinking its real and that's why pricing it at 5000 $ and not a replica.So,just submit all the documents to the Given email address and then we can see what happens.
