I live in Kolkata, WB. According to tracking sites, the parcel has been sent to Kochi.

Your shipment coming by Malaysia post so will be shipped through Kochi to you.

Hi friends i need a help with customs,
i ordered a Tx Rx and muiltiwii control board from hk on 22 july, parcel was shipped from hk. i track my parcel id.
now the problem is it reached to a india and held at a customs. now my current status is show is "Held by Customs at Destination" .
SO NOW WHAT TO DO ?
i am from mumbai.

This means the item has been sent your Local Po or GPO/FPO ....

2014-07-26 16:54, INDIA, DIMC NEW DELHI 110002, Return item from customs (Inb), unknown
this already means the item has been cleared by the customs (free/with customs duty) and handed back to Postal Dept. So it is not the customs but the Postal Dept. Check it fast as Postal Department guy are sometimes known for 'Flicking' the items, specially on which there is no Custom duty levied

so i had to go to their office they are not attening their contact number

Call DIMC NEW DELHI, and ask them the last status. They will have more information that what is found on tracking site. They can tell exactly which PO to call.

hey guys i have ordered flysky 6 channel 2.4 ghz tx rx and now customs have sent me a letter that wpc type document has anyone done it before.....? pls guide me ..............

my wl toyv912 was held at customs ......they also send me wpc approval notice

i tried to convince them for 2 weeks and after reading all the cases in this forum about approvals ..

i decided not to go with wpc approval ......and told customs to return the parcel to the origin and i dont know its my luck or they always send parcels back to origin country

but in my case they did send it back and i told banggood that i want exchange with other item ....the toy was 64$ and i bought a mobius action camera isteed of wltoys paid them the difference which was 14$ for camera and luckily it is on the way to home... i am going to receive it in a day or two...

so if you want to save your money dont go for wpc approval and send parcel back before its too late.....

most of the times i can see "Send item to domestic location (Inb)" on the same date got added for some people after "Return item from customs (Inb)"
but till now no update on my list.

Hello all:

Anyone has experience calling customs for detained parcel? Please share if you have ever contacted customs. I may have to call them soon as they have my parcel for last 30 days without any action. I have replied to their notice with required documents.

Also let me know if you know any custom clearing agent at mumbai.

Yesterday i received a letter from kolkata customs. They asked me to submit
1) Invoice and certificate of origin
2) Copy of IEC
3) "Please explain the goods with supporting documents".

I have attached a copy of the letter.
What should I do? Please help.

Its really difficult to get clearance for 2.4 GHz radios via Mumbai customs.

Give them a visit personally. Do you have an IEC (Import Export Code) and Invoice? The explanation of goods can be some technical details about the product.

What are the goods?
from the comment "Retention reason : Articles importation subject to restrictions import- license" It looks like it is stuck because you don't have an IEC Code (Import Export Code)

Thank you for your advice. That parcel contained quad frame, motors, propellers and some accessories.
I went to the foreign post post office on the very next day along with the invoice and some excellence certificates which i got from college tech fests. Customs officer asked me the purpose of the items i purchased. I convinced him with my certis and explained the working of multirotors. He was surprised.."ooh..you are not going to bomb a place".    I left an written application and the photocopy of the invoice.
The parcel was delivered after 5days. And the best part...NO CUSTOMS CHARGE.

I placed an order on hobbyking. it was shipped after two days on 7th august. ID: RC009961147MY. i informed HK on 8th sept that i didnt receive the parcel yet. they opened a case to investigate. But on 15th sept i came to know that the parcel was arrived in india and the location was kochi international mail center. it is held there since then.
i have never faced this kind of problem. why the shipment is taking this much time. mumbai, chennai mail systems are very fast. they take maximum 2days to release a parcel.
i am worried. it is almost 2months.

Sir I would suggest that you should try to contact customs Kochi branch by phone/letter/email .Ask them about the status of  the parcel . What all was in the package ? These days transmitters and other 2.4 ghz devices are getting confiscated a lot .
