Title: Risk of importing toy quads from banggood?
Post by: Cycloned on March 28, 2016, 10:35:47 PM
Searched around quite a bit but havent found much on this topic. Can you guys share your experiences? I miss my syma clone and want to import a toy quad but Im afraid it will be seized in customs and I will be fined, especially with the new rule from 1st April.

Personally, I would not risk it and get it from a lhs. If the package is small I wouldn't bother, but if your calling for a big package it will have higher chances of being checked at customs.

yes i agree with Mateen. www.banggood.com is very good web site if you request they send your item in small size box.

but if your item is big Size you face problem but don't worry. when you go Costume office you automatically Get the Solution ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

just w8 Few hours see the situation you get answer of your question.

The customs will not seize your parcel they just impose some tax on your import if the size is big and expensive. If it is not a product to be imported such as Transmitters tx then it may be seized.

I would, but LHS does not offer the toy quad I want.

Problem is the price of the Eachine H8 in LHS is 2x the price outside India. I don't mind paying more, but I don't feel twice the amount is worth it.

I would say dont order and go through the customs hassles. Anything they see like a quad, they tend to confiscate. But if your quad is dismantled into parts, they wouldn't understand and just clear it. So the point is, you can order spare and make a quad but if you directly import a quad, you might end up in some trouble
