@rj varun
Haha
In 1970 we used to cycle 16km to Saket Police Ground in south Delhi.
Carrying my Inchworm towline glider with the towhook hooked to the back of the shirt collar.
In 1980 RC Aunt used to carry two Peacemakers while riding shotgun on my Enfield.
Haven't tried a boat yet...

Seriously though, you can easily carry your model on a two wheeler or even on a bus.

Aaahaaaaa nostalgia!

Crowded public buses of Calcutta and the Magpie / Veron's Rascal models weren't a good mix. Not only did the models get damaged on the way to the 'Maidan', one had to fend irritating curious Doubting Thomas questions all the way, especially when you were 15 years old........

"Does it fly?"
"Did YOU make this yourself?"
"HOW did you make it?"
"Can I buy one readymade?"
"Is this paper? Why is it so tight?"
"Can my son make it?"

The worst part is that there was no CA in those days. All you had was NC TRadfix or Quickfix. Whatever was damaged in transit, was repaired and orally 'blow' dried on the field. I remember hiding behind the war trophy "Chaffee" Tank (which has probably been scrapped by now) and doing my repair work to avoid the pesky questionmongers.
