Title: Traveling to India with RC Gliders Post by: apatel on June 06, 2014, 02:37:59 AM Hi, I have asked this question before but need more wisdom, I intend to travel to India for about six months, I want to being 3 different type of gliders with me, Foam electric, DGL and a 2.4 meter Composite glider.
The customs issues you guys have reads like a nightmare. I no intention of leaving these behind with me whem I leave India, probally will declare these with our own customs before I leave to avoid duty on the way back in. the models will be boxed for travel and wont look like a suitcase, making no attempt to hide it, (150x30x30cm), I'll have the transmitter with me, packed in a siutcase, as welll as LIPOs and a few repair materials and spares. I would like to know of the likely hood of issues bring them in. Prepared to have them listed on Passport to exit. Kind regards Aneil.
