Hi, I have asked this question before but need more wisdom, I intend to travel to India for about six months, I want to being 3 different type of gliders with me, Foam electric, DGL and a 2.4 meter Composite glider.

The customs issues you guys have reads like a nightmare.

 I no intention of leaving these behind with me whem I leave India,  probally will declare these with our own customs before I leave to avoid duty on the way back in.

the models will be boxed for travel and wont look like a suitcase, making no attempt to hide it, (150x30x30cm), I'll have the transmitter with me, packed in a siutcase, as welll as LIPOs and a few repair materials and spares.

I would like to know of the likely hood of issues bring them in. Prepared to have them listed on Passport to exit.

Well if you could put it in a suitcase you can avoid the hassle
Or if you still dont want to hide it
When asked about the value of the plane
Just tell them it is made by me out of a sheet of thermocol......
