RC India

RC India has just passed 10,000 posts in about 9 months of existence.  While it is no big deal in many ways, it is great to see a small effort growing at such a fast pace, and all thanks to the members who frequent and help one another ! 

Some times our points of view differ enough to cause grief, but people have learned to grow beyond that and see a bigger picture.  And yes, we have a lot of product and commercial discussion (as compared to pure RC/aeromodelling), but that is part of the goals of this forum (and one of the key reasons for its existence). 

I would have loved to see 500 members when we hit 10K posts, so little more word of mouth seems to be needed.  And we need see more build threads.

Thanks you one and all !  We look forward to hitting 20K, 50K and 100K in the not too distant future !  ;)

Well i don't think it is a small thing because this site is dedicated to indians only which as per my my views seem to have not so much interest in these things[leave the exceptions like us lol]
 the official stats before this post were:-"10016 Posts in 1145 Topics by 437 Members."
So it means 23 posts per person on an average.

Anwar bhai 20% of the total posts are yours.

There was no need to stoop this low !  Instead of all this crap/lies, just don't prevent people from posting information that is needed by others (especially newcomers), and there is no need for RC India any more !

I don't see  why you should even bother visiting that site I don't even have a look now  a days , its relevance  is  ??? ??? ???  in a very short period

Old Observation  a dying man  does shake his leg around  that is why the saying " KICK THE BUCKET " I guess  :giggle: :giggle:

Keep up the focus and the good work , let   this  guy and his entity ( I shall not call it a forum ) go their own ways .

Imagine in 9 months  he is having to measure up to to RCINDIA  so much so that he feels like  :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:.

Please don't lower the stature of RCINDIA by posting  stuff like this .

People have decided   as is obvious from the response to RC India  so  I don't see the need  for us to see such crap , we have left the negativity and fear  of talking freely  there and tasted  a better situation thanks to you and all members here .

So let us be positive  and look forward to 20 K in the next six months  :salute:

I sort of agree. I found it interesting only because someone had to come up with false allegations (which in turn sort of shows what the users of this forum have achieved in such a short amount of time).

india rc cannot be compared to rcindia in both the ways
firstly this forum is much interactive and godd looking,while it being a dull complicated and boring forum
secondly,although they have ~2000 members and ~20000 posts yet to compare this site has reached10k in 9months and crowd is just ~450
however as people get more in number and activity we can reach  20k [i.e. equal to india rc] in ~6months
they have been online for 3yrs or more..i guess but now they they seem to have literally died lol

we have a good collection of knowledge while i think is more than that site even  now

so Anwar bhai just let it be wheresoer it is while we STAND HIGH

sorry that i cannot use so good and 'sensible' english as i m not good in it

not a problem dear, so long we can understand !!!

my language turns understandable due to 3 reasons:-
1)out of curiosity
2)gettting deeply involved and start getting too technical so not able concentrate and use good language[words]

actually i found that most people in this forum except me and subbu are graduates [maybe some are postgraduates]
the thing is u have studied much more than me so i think this is natural

What i meant was, just being a graduate or a post graduate doesnt really help with this hobby here. Degrees matter but arent everything.
What you learn in school is the foundation for everything else. a good, intelligent class X student can know more than 85% of graduates in this country. I have worked as an HR and have first hand experience with this.
So young man, do not loose heart . What you can do and achieve many others can only dream of.

Well, we hit 20K in four and a half months !  That is half the time it took to get to the first 10K !

It would have been great to see 1K users too, but that needs a bit more time !

Let me share few of my thoughts about this forum and why i love it  :bow:.

who am i ?

• I am one of those majority (silent) people, who keeps browsing different topics, and post little , when in need !!
• I am one of those, who flies alone , and learn via the expensive way.. Get hurt, come here and get helped...
• I visit the forum very often, at least once in a day..
• I have not posted much , because i am a beginner , very little of things to share for now, and i have lot of knowledge to gain from the people here.

why i like to associate myself with this forum ?

• 1. People -  :bow:  :salute:  {:)} Salaam, Hates off to all ...Haven't felt that comfortable anywhere else..
  How do i put it in words ..  Seniors, beginners, LHS who go beyond ..that just business thing .. 
  Its because of the quality of the posts that i visit here..
  The kind of guidance, tips, Knowledge sharing..its those that brings me here
  Helpful, Polite,  and that feeling that i would have answers to my queries
• 2. Simple GUI (Neat Layout,themes and very little mouse actions required to accomplish what we need)
• 3. Because it is simple, i dont get distracted much, go over what i came for.
• There must lot of other things, for why i like to be here..but nothing comes to my mind now.. :o  but i aint scared of posting my thoughts and be in fear..that somebody might shout at me!!   ;D

What i would like to see ? 
These things may or may not be worth... ;)
These things may be or may not be possible from the technology point of view...
At least, they are kind of thoughts i would suggest on the way forward/ or near future possibilities..

• A facility to put a one liner from a user ..what they say as "SHOUT" ..that others can see on the home page..kind of live feed from users to the board.
• I do not support one on one  chat facility...because then we will have no posts..everybody would discuss things and move off
• A Group chat, where we can have discussions on a particular topic, on a day and the discussions archived for others to see
• People can come up with videos , it may be anything that is related to rc
• Someday , we will have streaming videos, where we can meet....i know its too much..just a thought..

i am member of many forums...may be i know them for couple of years ... but have not been that active on them..not sure why..i dont have any reasons..which i can pinpoint...its just that i like here...
