Hi All,

Back after an extremely emotionally and physically stressed week at Cal. This too shall pass.

Just a passing thought - Why are some 'identities' ceasing to post and / or be active on the forum - as soon as their posts/their true identities/their intentions have been questioned by some other worthies of the forum?

I am referring to at least 2 individuals whose posts have mostly served to highlight the builds and accomplishments of yet another third member (who is now dormant)  with covert references to his exalted excellence. Once their intentions and identities have been questioned, they have virtually vanished from the forum. One, at least, is/was active till 8:58pm today (30th. July 2013), the other has last logged into the forum on 3rd. May 2013.

The reason that I am posting this is to humbly enquire from the Admin / Mods - can anything be done about these fake identities and psychologically insecure individuals? Since we have reached the age and stage of IP addresses being monitored - can't these individuals be exposed for all and sundry to know / be aware/ BEWARE - once and for all?

Or are we going to turn a blind eye to their demented antics and then solemnly swear that ''All is well"?

I am not going to BUMP this thread, regularly, just to jog your collective conscience/memories. Neither will many care / dare to post here, nor will my righteous indignation have any effect on the conscience of the person/persons concerned. This thread will die a natural death and yet these scamsters will remain. Sadly, this is what differentiates us from other truly International Forums. Such things are not tolerated there.

VC,  we have brought this up before.  The"demented antics" have been - not just tolerated but - accepted with eyes wide open.

And "a natural death" already occurred a long time ago!

Firstly, your mother expected to see me before leaving Kolkata, but I not gone for the reason, you know, to avoid some undesired thing. But I cannot forgive me for the same. NEVER. and missed her blessings for ever. May her soul bless us. And you have leaved Kolkata after packing everything. Very sensitive moment and I have not present this time too just to restrict my tears.

Secondly, Hee, hee, WingCo advised me early as IMPOSTER (Thanks WingCo. MJA) and rest is known to all about Giggle .I have invited him/her to here for RC electronics details with discrete circuitry, but sadly he took the award from other forum cheating everyone informed later by our forum moderator and Admin investigation. This is an open forum. People who need to be named have to be named (and shamed, if deserving). All of us have better things to do than read between the lines. 

Plus it is only democratic to lend a chance for rebuttal to the accused.

I will interfere if I see gross injustice. But I have to be convinced beyond a certain level. Until then status quo it is. That is a privilege I am sworn to afford to every member here.

in the world of internet, i guess it is normal to have a different handle names, and also people reserve the right to their privacy, but by saying so, not by masquerading. having said that, in the same breath let me tell you, there are a lot of folks who do that and are doing that. it kinda vents their unfulfilled fantasy i guess. wise are those who know it yet keep quiet, may be an occasional, polite pointing out is enough i guess. even this masquerade as long it is not with some mal-intent i guess is fine.

to that end i agree with saikat, there was no harm meant, except selective eulogising, that i guess is not in order, therefore your scold (which is justified)

also, we have our ever vigilant idi-amin Grin
