On 13th July 2010, I received a consignment from this person. I paid Rs.2200 for it. This is what I paid for:

LiPo batteries (1 X 1000mAh + 1 X 1300 mAh) : Rs.1000

Prop adaptor *2 - Rs.100
Prop saver - Rs.25
6s LiPo charge reader - Rs. 200
Servo extension cables*4 (female ones) - Rs.100
Tower pro - 2410 - 9t 4y BL outrunner(used but working good) - Rs.400
Other parts(screws, prop rings, allen keys, nuts etc) - free

Props

First of all, the consignment was messed up. It was sent through Speedpost and was seemingly "lost in transit". I messaged him and received no response. So I posted a message :

On checking the consignment, I found that the LiPo checker (Rs.200) was missing and emailed him immediately. He did not respond and then I called him. This is what he had to say, "I am sorry, someone bought stuff from me worth Rs.8000 and I had to give him that as a gift."

So what about my Rs.200/-? No reply.

I sent him several emails, SMS messages, no response.

I forgot all about it and gave it up for good, just PM'd the Administrator and kept him in the loop. The other day, it all came to a head. I tried using the BL motor for the Hovercraft, it didn't work. My instructor, who is an Electronics Engineer, checked it with a Multi Meter and pronounced it dead. I had been sceptical from the start because this motor looked badly worn out and had a cut wire extending from the armature.

Left with no recourse, I emailed him and sent him a PM on 24th Sept.

This is what I said:

"Mr. Jerry Azhakathu,

I am still waiting for your refund of the Rs.200 for the LiPo Checker that you didn't send but charged me for. Plus the Tower pro - 2410 - 9t 4y BL outrunner for which I paid Rs.400 has also turned out to be a piece of junk, it does not work. I hope you will appreciate that on a transaction of Rs.2200, if goods worth Rs.600 are are defective / missing, it needs to be acted upon.

I have sent you numerous PM's and emails and you have ignored all of them. Please treat this as a warning, if you don't refund this amount of Rs.600 into my account immediately, I will post this entire email on the forum. You cannot cheat people like this. I will send you the motor once I get the money.

You have tested my patience to the hilt, I have waited 2 and a half months to send you this email.

I got a reply from him today:

"OK MR VC

Please dont try threaten me and I am not going to fall for that one!!!!!

You will get a brand new LiPo Checker ASAP through ebay at your door step. It is coming from China and will take upto 14 days. I have ordered it 3 days ago.

And about the motor, I cant refund you any money because, you haven't raised any issues since today and our dealing was over 2-3 months back. It was your duty to check the items you bought from somebody and make sure its working. Who knows you messed up the motor when you tried it!

You can post/email/ or even ask Anwar to cancel my rc india account, I just dont care and doesn't give a damn about a website like that.

I know that this thread will attract a fair amount of controversy, I am really beyond caring now. Whether he sends me a LiPo Checker from China or Chandigarh or whether he maligns me (I am sure he will), I don't really care. I am doing what has been done. I have tried my best by refunding the entire amounts to parties who were not entirely satisfied (justifiably so) with my products, I expect to be treated the same way. That is all.

Jerry - As a matter of principle, Rs1 is no different than Rs.1000000.  If you/me owe Rs1 to someone, we need to ensure that either it is paid, or have the other person gracefully forgo the same (based on your/our explanation).  And there are no two ways about it, especially in the context of a forum like this, which works completely based on people trusting each other and being gentlemanly with one another.

Since you have not disputed your messages as posted by VC, I take it that you have no inclination towards being on this forum nor do you care about it... and we are happy to know that. 

Kindly do not post further on RC India, unless you want to dispute anything that has been attributed to you.  When anyone can create another account, there is no point in childish things like banning accounts etc, but I do hope you are mature enough not to respond further, on a website that you "don't give a damn about".
