Title: Multiwii with Arduino Nano
Post by: Sashvat on October 26, 2018, 06:32:07 PM
Hi guys, I am doing projects on drones and I was interested in Multiwii with an Arduino Nano (Atmega 328p). I followed all the instructions from- http://www.electronoobs.com/eng_robotica_tut5_3.php

My drone is arming and motors run, but as I increase the throttle the drone just stays on the ground and doesn't fly. Can anyone tell me what I should do?

Thank you

Can you try to elaborate a little.
How did u arm the flight controller? Did u assign any switch or throttle down yaw max?
Did you check in the configurator if multiwii is able to capture the inputs or not?
Does motor speed increase when u throttle up atleast by some percent?
Before you proceed to any test I strongly suggest to remove propeller to avoid surprising ramming.

Yes I have set throttle down, yaw max for arming and disarming. I have checked in the configurator for the inputs all the inputs seem fine. The motors speed increase as the throttle increases, but when I fly it, it doesn't lift off the ground. The motors are not giving enough power to life the drone off the ground.
