Hello Guys.
I need some help here.
I ordered a flysky fsi6 receiver and transmitter  from banggood on 4th November.
and on 6th Nov the status on banggood said shipped but I am not able to track it anywhere.
I tried tracking by  yanwen but it shows "information created by seller"
and thats it.
My Tracking No. is- 662887230
I have ordered it through India Direct Post.
Q. When will I be able to track it and when will I receive it?
Q. And what will happen when it will reach India and at Customs.
                                           PLEASE reply as this was my first international purchase and I am a bit worried about it.

Please share your experience with customs once you get the transmitter. As per my knowledge, importing transmitter is not allowed in India. Any body imported Tx, please put your words.

Don't worry. Your assured date from Gati is 16 Nov. So you should get it by 20 Nov maximum. Add any Sundays in between.

Hi,

I bought five items in banggood. Four items came in time (I choose India Direct mail) without any duty. One of the item I chose in Aramex (Free shipping) thinking that it will come quick than others. But it came very late due to KYC documents updating, customs hold and lack of communication from Aramex. I paid 20% customs duty+service charge etc.

Never ever choose Aramex/ EMS or other priority shipping companies until you have no choice.

Hey Guys.
I received my flysky fs i6 tx rx yesterday.
I ordered that through India Direct Mail.
and that too without any problems of customs or anything.
It was delivered to my home safely.
Although there was no banggood label on the packaging.
It was just inside a black plastic bag covered with a thin layer of foam.
The transmitter was in a good condition and everything works great.
It was good first international purchase experience.

As quadcopter is of 4 esc 30amp Simonk, So you should have to provide 120amp(minimum) from lipo.
30ampx4=120,I also have some 4 esc and trying to buy "Turnigy Heavy Duty 3300mAh 3S 60C Lipo Pack"
3300x60=198000. 198000/100=198 amps. Thumbs Up
You and me need to buy "Turnigy Heavy Duty 3300mAh 3S 60C Lipo Pack".
But my problem is Shipping is not available for India in hobbyking. Huh?

Battery shouldn't be the problem in your setup. Looks like higher kv motors are creating the issues. What's the size of propellers which you are using?

I am using 1045/1045R props.
The max. Prop size which you can safely use on 2200kv motors is 6inch. Anything exceeding this can drastically increase the current draw and burn the speed controllers.

@pinak28,
Kiran rc's post is the first correct advice on this thread.

Looks like you got the frame, motors, ESCs, props, battery as individual items and not a matched set.

There are many issues involved.
1. What is the all up weight with battery?
2. Is your battery 2s or 3s?
3. Pl provide whatever details you have about the motors, esp brand, max watts, max amps (60 sec), max amps (continuous). Kv you said is 2200.

Note that the current drawn depends on the load, ie the prop size and motor rpm.
Not on the ESCs or battery. Those provide the upper limit of the current you can draw safely

With a fully charged 3s lipo, a 2200kv motor will run at over 25,000 rpm on no load, ie, without prop
If you mount a 7x3.5 prop, it will shed its blades within a few seconds. (Personal experience  Grin)
I use a 6x3 with 3s lipo on a 2200kv motor.

If you use a larger/stronger prop, it will overload/overheat the motor, ESC and battery.
My 800gm ST360 flies easily with 8x4.5 on 1050kv motors with a a 3s 2200mah lipo.

So if you answer the above 3 questions, members will be able to give you meaningful advice.
Best wishes.

Ans 1- I havent measured the weight sorry but can be around 600-800gms without the battery.
Ans 2- my battery is 3s lipo 30c/60c 3000mah
Ans 3- I bought motors from amazon- 2200kv 22T No branding They are those copper ones.

My props are 1045
The esc I have are those red colored with just simonk 30a written on them.

@pinak28,
Measure the dia and length (excl prop shaft) of the motor.
For example, 28mm dia, 26mm length is a 2826.
Then you can look up the specification of a similar Turnigy motor to get an approximate amps/watts figure for your motor (and the recommended prop size)

Without a wattmeter to check the load, you have 2 options
1. Get 6x3 props (having a strong hub to blade connection, not the flimsy ones). See pic.
2. If you have a 2s lipo, try it, as the rpm will be less than with a 3s.

(I will be offline till 25th)

@kkiyer
I think its 2212 on the motor.
And if I get 6030 props will it solve my problem..as i found out that 1045 are good for 1200kv motor only.
and 2200kv motor requires max 6030.
So will propeller solve my problem..and is this whhy my esc stopped working.

I think you are referring to the A2212/6 motor
Here is the datasheet.

Although you can switch to smaller props, the major problem arises with efficiency of the system.

@pinak28,

1045 props, 30A ESC, 3000mah 3S.. You have everything right for a 380 to 450mm size build. A 2212 sized 920kv to 1100kv motor is the right one for this combo. I suggest you get these motors before attempting to use this system with a 2200kv motor. There is no way a 6 inch prop on 2200kv motor is going to lift a 1kg quad at <60% throttle.

kn8alpha this is not the case. As you can see in the motor datasheet, it also produces the same thrust as of a A2212 1000kv motor. A2212 2200kv motors with 6" props will be able to lift a 1kg Quad in less than 50% throttle. The only thing is the higher KV motors consume more amps as compared to the lower kv ones and because of that, the battery will last shorter. You can take the example of the A2212 1000kv otors and A2212 2200kv Motors. The A2212 1000kv motors consume around 13a at max throttle with 1045 props providing around 900g of static thrust and A2212 2200kv motors consume around 26A at max throttle with 6040 props providing approx the same thrust.

I returned the 2200kv motors today.
And ordered 1000kv motors.
As I was suggested that the props wont solve the problem.
So I did.

@pinak28 it is always better to have a lower kv motor with a bigger prop for better efficiency. Using a 6" or 7" prog would have solved the problem but also they would have consumed almost double the power than a 1000kv motor with a 1045 propeller keeping the thrust almost same.
You had the option to return it and that was the best thing. But if you couldn't return them, the 2200kv motors would not be a waste. And also 1 more thing to note, you have to choose the motor/prop combination according to the frame like you cannot use a 1000kv motor with a 1045 propeller on a 250 or 330 frame.

@yashasr
I have a 450 frame, kk2.1 fc, 30a esc, 1045 props, orange 3000mah 30c battery,
And I ordered 1000kv motors.
I have seen 450mm quads with 1000kv motors and they fly easily.
so what should I do?

@pinak28, no worries.. what @yashasr wanted to say is that 2200kv wouldn't have been a waste. 1000kv IS the right choice for your 450, all the best for your build and do keep us posted.

@yashasr: It's interesting that a 2200kv is producing 1kg of thrust at 50%, can you point me to this datasheet? I'm hoping we're still talking about 3s..

@kn8alpha I didn't say that a 2200kv motor produces 1kg at 50% Throttle. I meant that they ( four of them as in a quadcopter) can lift a 1kg quad at 50% Throttle.

@flyman , your query may be best explained elsewhere in this forum appropriate to the issue. You may best hope to loose the TX and get refunded by the seller, by applying for 'Return to Sender' to the Customs. No getting around this.

@flyman
I can't help much about it.
as I too ordered a TX Rx but mine came directly to my home without any problem.
I think you should either got the customs office where it is detained and talk to them they might help you.
Or you should send it to the seller.Or you might just lose your money.

I don't know about the current situation but it was available when I ordered it.
It came without any custom charges and was delivered in 17 days.
