Title: Ways to access RC India on your mobiles and tablets
Post by: anwar on February 27, 2013, 10:40:37 PM
I guess everyone knows that this forum is Tapatalk enabled, so that is one easy way to access this forum (and many others) on your mobile devices.  I believe Tapatalk supports all major mobile OSes.

But recently I have been using another method to consolidate all my news/blog reading.  It works like this :

1. Since RC India has an RSS feed, it can be added to Google Reader.  Basically, open http://google.com/reader while logged into your Google account, then click the "Subscribe" button on the top right, and search for "rc india" in the search box.  The top result link should point to "http://www.rcindia.org/.xml/?type=rss". Click the "Subscribe" button below that link.

2. You can add most of the news/blog sites this way, and you can consolidate your news feed.  Guess most people are familiar with Google Reader, so I am probably preaching to the choir !

3. Then you can use apps that display Google Reader feeds nicely on your brower, mobiles and tablets.  The one I use is called http://feedly.com .  Just install it on your mobile, and you have a nice way to be in touch with RC India and all your favorite news sites.  I have seen others who use http://pulse.me for the same purpose.

That's it...  a whole new way to keep up with RC India action.  Note that this does not notify you with PMs etc, but they should get emailed to you anyways.

I Think
 http://www.rcindia.org/?imode

will do the trink. Just add /?imode at last and it will be mobile ready.
Even this is helpful whenever your bandwidth become narrow and browsing is essential.

That is publicly listed as #8 here : http://www.rcindia.org/rc-india-forum/forum-usage-tips/msg212/#msg212

This is a completely different method, which involves integration of every blog/news site that you actually care about.
