An information to RC flyers from bangalore, firstly it would be a shock for you ppl to know that there is an airfield at hosur, its a private one, with a runway 2.16 Kms long, and accepts airbus and boeing aircrafts of all airlines for C checks, Its owned by Taneja aerospace and aviation limited(TAAL).. its hardly a 30 mins drive from Electronic city,and 7 kms from attibele.. If anyone is interested to fly on this LOOOOng runway ,this sunday, feel free to contact me on

after attibele, take right towards  TVS road and proceed forward crossing the TVS factory, 5 kms ahead you will get a four road intersection, take right again and go straight for 4 Kms, u can see the airfield..TAAL will be more than happy to have you ppl flying, u can contact Mr.ShikHar Chaturvedi for permissions..

Are you associated with TAAL ? I bet many of old fliers here are aware about TAAL, infact one of the flyer was even associated with them, still used to fly in Jakkur.

I think TAAL would not allow us to fly with commercial jet around for servicing, else one of the Jet plane owner would have been long flying there.

We would be really exited if my presumptions are wrong and someone from TAAL can allow us to fly there!!!

of course,iam associated with taal..iam a trainee atc there..wanted to share the info with fellow flyers from bangalore..if possible,do come down this sunday for flying..any info needed,plz contact mr.shikar,i have mentioned his contact in my earlier blog..and yes,this is the first time ever taal is allowing rc..

This is really a great news, if so I am dreaming of flying at TAAL Hosur.

Just saw your post , Just back from Hoskote airfield three , four people * seniors  have come today quite early by 6:00 am completed by 10:00  and back to home , i will be coming there tmrow for my maiden flight as SUNDAY is best and there are many people around.
