I am Pratik from Hyderabad. I understand that the Aviatorshyd fly the aeromodels at Shamirpet lake bed every Sunday. I wuold like to know if you are flying today, (Sunday, Sept. 4th, 2009). Also I would like to know if you can suggest me some more information on the contacts in Hyderabad to learn more on this. I am a beginer in this and very much ineterested in flying the aeromodels.

pratik there are no hobby shops in hyderabad other than the jacks (as far as i know off).First you have to decide on what model u want to build i.e electric model or glow model and how much money you want to invest or spend ? based on your answer i can help you or help you get in touch with right people  :)

I am relocating to Secunderabad in next couple of months .Anyone still flies at Shamirpet lake bed ? On sundays ?Timings?Can someone give details of location? I have my own  3 RC's and 3 models .Will post again  , after I get down to Delhi.Presently I am located in Qatar .

Not sure how to annotate on maps...  ;)

There are 2 entrances to the field. One just before the Nalsar Law college and the other just after the college. These accesses are very much visible on google maps. (look carefully) 8-)

While going towards Shamirpet lake from the city, there is a turn to the left a little before the lake starts. There are also some small stalls and shops right before the turn. This road will take you to the Nalsar Law College and the field will be on your right.

Hai I am Shiva now located at Hyderabad.
I am a beginner into RC flying  , did some flying at Qatar and Delhi.
Have 2 futaba 6 ch and one Hobbyking 6 ch Radio  systems(yet to use it ).
Been flying .46 seagull  & Thunder tiger Trainer (crashed badly)
Presently finishing building a Thunder tiger 60 cessena. Another Cessens is in kit .
Have the Seagull 46 ready to fly by next sunday .
Hope some flyers do go to shameerpet on next sunday.
