Last one year I have been in Hyderabad and been flying at Shameerpet lake , where several landup on sundays .There is no infrstructure nor a proper Runway to fly .Fortunately I met another person  who was keen to start a club . We are starting a  club in Hyderabad ( no club exists at present)  by the name of AVIATERS .The club has all facilities for teaching Aeromodellling from Basics including the basics of Flight .We have suitable Indoor facilities for training and building models and biggest attraction is a mini airfield with all basic infrastructure for Model flying including a Runway ,cafetaria etc .web site will be on net in this week .In the meanwhile ,Contact me at my Mob 9505219847 STD Code 040.

We will keep posting the details as we keep adding the facilities .Presently we have the Academy (indoor facilities near Andhra pradesh Police Academy (PBEL City ) .We have introductory /Model classes from 1030 Am to 1 PM at Academy and therafter we go for flying at our mini airfield which is coming up with a mini runway ,Restaurent,Toilets ,entertainment facilities (videio games/simulater ) etc .
We will slowly devlop the Mini airfield to have suitable facilities for People to spend a weekend as a resort .We plan to gradually add more facilities.

Your club is situated near the outer-ring road APPA junction? On the way to Chilkur, perhaps... It's a great place for flying indeed! Probably the first established club in Hyderabad. :)

Yes it is very close to Andhra pradesh Police Academy .We fly at a place about 12 kms from there at or mini aeromodelling airfield .We normally have our indoor activities at PBEL City on Saturdays & sundays .

We have started doing projects for colleges helping them to build ,cover basic aspects of making models,simulater and practical flying .Ring me upand come over to our club near APPA junction on saturdays /Sundays between 1030 AM to 1PM

Last Friday at AVIATORS Aeromodelling Club  we had a days outing for a school for an Air show near Chilkur .We got  350 schoolcstudents and had the event from 10AM to 4PM .We had display of about 50 models & Aviation history in posters .For students we had Ground Taxi of Electric planes , Some circuit flying for selected Students , simulator,Chuck glider building ,Flying and quiz competition- with 3 prizes . We had ground taxing and some Nitro flying .We had our staff of 35 persons besides 25 teachers .The children and staff enjoyed the event and several students showed keenness to enroll for further flying .It was an event ending in   grand success.Times of India covered the event in their Hyderabad edition.Planning for more events for schools in Hyderabad to bring in an interest for children  in schools . The phoros will be on the website fly aviators in a couple of days .

at that time i had spoken to shiva and was told club was no-operational or something plus most of them were flying near shamirpet lake.

I went to their club some 2 years back .It's a commercial enterprise. They teach building and flying for a fee. Just call Mr Sumanth, u can get better info.

the Club seems to be non functional as such since no events have taken place of late . Contact me for any help
