Hi All,

As most of you would know that two weeks back our flying field @ Noida was shut down   as Unitech had started the utilization of thier plush new Golf Course ... In the event of the same a search party was conducted to find a new flying field   
Finally, we landed up at an excellent location in noida ... we are building a huge RC flying runway as well as a circuit to accomodate the RC cars and heli flying..... The field is beautiful...

The size of the new field is fit for flying upto 100cc models and more ... 

I am attaching below the map as well as pics of the work in progress....

sir, i m from noida, a eighteen year old du student, i m deeply interested in rc flying as a hobby but unfortunately, i have not found any resources on ground such as a senior fellow or a instructor or even a partner. can anyone just help me out, if ii can know the basics and know from were to start by visiting the field in noida and watching you all flying???

To me it looks like some Neta or Bureaucrat on the field amongst the flyers/drivers/photogrpahers which occasioned the police vehicle and personnel.
Sometimes having them around can be a big help but can also be a big pain as well

Is this event taking place at your field... SOUNDS GOOD............:)
Looks like it is going to be a fun show for all to participate... Nothing fancy just plain simple...quite nice and easy manoeuvres

Would be more interesting if you can get a schedule for helis in there too... The spectators would love it and the hobby will gain more popularity...

12th will be the practice day from 8 AM to 4 PM. You can tune up your engines and airplanes for the competition on the 13th.
 
Schedule for the 13th -
 
1. Glider flying competition starting at 8.30 AM [ glow or electric ] [ No size limit ]
Sequence -
a. Hand launch [ power on for max 60 seconds]......................10 marks
b. Max glide time not exceeding 3 minutes will be recorded.....30 marks
c. Spot landing in a 1 meter circle..........................................20 marks
 
 
 
2. High wingers [ glow or electric ] [ No size limit ]
Sequence -
a. Take off...........................................................................10 marks
b. Any 3 known maneuvers of your choice..............................30 marks
c. Spot landing in a 1 meter circle.........................................20 marks
 
 
3. Low wingers [ glow or electric ] [ No size limit ]
Sequence -
Any 6 known maneuvers of your choice..................................60 marks
No marks for takeoffs and landings !!

Divay - Please provide a clear lat/long, or map picture at full zoom. It is not clear from your picture whether the field is within the "clover leaf" shaped road interchange.

I was trying to update the list, but will now wait until you provide an EXACT location.

हरेक वीकेंड में नोएडा में एयरो मॉडलिंग के दीवाने इकट्ठा होते हैं।
सेक्टर-93 स्थित पंचशील बालक इंटर कॉलेज से सटा खाली ग्राउंड इन दीवानों का अड्डा है।

एयरो मॉडलर असोसिएशन की नोएडा शाखा से जुड़े मेंबर अपने मॉडल प्लेन लेकर जुटते हैं। गैस, बैट्री और एयरोक्रॉफ्ट फ्यूल से चलने वाले ये प्लेन जब 200 किलोमीटर प्रति घंटे की रफ्तार से हवा में कलाबाजी करते हैं। इन्हें देखकर बिल्कुल नहीं लगता कि ये टॉय प्लेन हैं। एयरो मॉडलिंग के शौकीन रिमोट कंट्रोल और ट्रांसमीटर के जरिए इन्हें कंट्रोल करते हैं। एक बार उड़ने के बाद प्लेन करीब 10-15 मिनट तक हवा में कलाबाजी कर सकता है। सुरक्षा की दृष्टि से इन्हें एक किलोमीटर के रेडियस में उड़ाया जाता है। टेक ऑफ कराने से पहले मौसम का भी ध्यान रखा जाता है।

दिल्ली के प्रीत विहार इलाके में ट्रांसपोर्ट का बिजनेस करने वाले सुधीर अग्रवाल बताते हैं कि सप्ताह में छह दिन तक लगातार काम करने के बाद तन और मन दोनों थक जाते हैं। ऐसे में वीकेंड में एयरो मॉडलिंग करके बड़ा सुकून मिलता है। उन्होंने बताया कि उनका छोटा भाई मनीष और दोनों बच्चे भी प्लेन उड़ाने के लिए आते हैं। उन्होंने बताया कि उन्हें प्लेन बनाना भी अच्छा लगता है। इस काम में उन्हें इंटरनेट और दोस्तों से मदद मिलती है।

मयूर विहार फेज -2 में रहने वाले अर्जुन राज 11 वीं के स्टूडेंट हैं। वह अपने बड़े भाई दीपक और पिता सेल्वाराज के साथ एयरो मॉडलिंग के लिए आते हैं। उनका कहना है वह खुद अपना प्लेन डिजाइन करते हैं। उन्होंने हाल ही में एएक्सएन फ्लोटर और यूएसए पैटर्न पर एफ -18 प्लेन बनाया है। अब वह इसकी टेस्टिंग कर रहे हैं।

दिल्ली के सूरजमल विहार निवासी आंेकार शर्मा कहते हैं कि यह टाइमपास का जरिया नहीं , बल्कि एयरोनॉटिकल साइंस की प्रैक्टिकल ट्रेनिंग भी है। यहां पर प्लेन बनाने , उसे उड़ाने और इसे मेंटेन करने की ट्रेनिंग दी जाती है।

असोसिएशन के नोएडा शाखा के सेक्रेटरी दिव्य पुरी कहते हैं कि अपने देश में रेडिमेड मॉडल प्लेन बेचने वाली दुकानों की कमी है। इन्हें इंटरनेट पर ऑर्डर देकर हांगकांग , यूएसए या जापान से मंगवाया जाता है। इस पर 5 हजार से लेकर 1 लाख रुपये तक की लागत आती है।

एयरो मॉडलर असोसिएशन ऑफ इंडिया के प्रेजिडेंट बिजेंद्र नागर ने बताया कि यह एक एडवेंचरस और साइंस से जुड़ा पैशन है। वर्ष 2009 में शुरू हुई उनकी असोसिएशन की देश भर में 15 ब्रांच है और इससे 400 मेंबर जुड़ चुके हैं। गुड़गांव , दिल्ली में मुंडका गांव और नोएडा में लोकल एयरो मॉडलर असोसिएशन सफलतापूर्वक अपना काम कर रही ह ैं।

I checked out how google translate works with Hindi and got a few laughs.(I might have missed out marking a few of them)

We need someone who knows both the languages well.Certainly not Google. :giggle:

Didn't mean to offend anyone.....except Google Translate >:D(I'm no expert at Hindi and I'm not saying I could have done a better job.One more thing,Google Translate is very useful and I'm not implying that it does not work.Just that making it work with Indian languages is quite difficult.Also an answer to why Anwar sir might not have posted the translation and has asked for one.....)
