Hello, i'm from New Zealand and Looking at traveling to India next year for about 5 months. Time to reconect with family and culture. Addicted to RC soaring so want to know if there are anybody slope and thermal flying actvity around India. Would I expect to have problems bringing gliders and rc equipment into the country. Locations to fly especailly around Mumbai ,Goa and Gujarat.  Interested in striking up dialouge with like minded people.
regards

Aneil,
We slope soar regularly most weekends near Lonavala
Place is fantastic , winds in one direction at a constant 15 ~20 Knots thru the day

I am not into soaring but into gliding,3D etc.... so would have fun to see slope soaring

Cooooool Gusty !
Depending on wind and lift another thing I like to do is follow the slope @ 3ft height  zzzip down the slope holding down elev and the let off the elev , results in a big loop
FPV thru the clouds will be cool too
Looks like I should plan a sloping trip with you soon
